We will be receiving non-perishable food items November 1, 8, and 15 for The Amen Food Pantry and the Janssen Animal Shelter.

The Janssen Shelter asks for  Pedigree wet and dry dog food and canned pumpkin for dogs. Dog treats would be great too! For cats, Purina cat and kitten chow. 

The Amen Pantry shared the following list of items but will welcome any donations, including store brands. Any donation is much appreciated!

Sliced peaches (15 oz)
Chili w/ beans
Chili w/out beans
Any type of cereal
64 oz apple juice
Pancake mix (just add water)
24 oz ketchup
Pineapple chunks (20 oz)
Canned tuna fish
Canned chicken
Generic Ritz crackers
Spaghetti sauce - (preferably Hunt's since there's is in a can)
Fruit cocktail (15 oz)
Small applesauce cups
2# sugar
2# flour
4# Masa
2# packages of rice
Chef Boyardi pastas
Generic Hamburger Helper to stretch a meal.
Macaroni and cheese
Instant mashed potatoes

Please bring your food items and place them under the Altar when you come to church those Sundays.

Our "Soul of a Musician" Concert Series returns on Sunday, November 15th at 12:15 with the extraordinary Jeff Plankenhorn (J.Plank)

J. Plank is a BC-based, internationally touring singer-songwriter, masterful lap steel innovator, and multi-instrumentalist. With soulful vocals, deep-groove songwriting, and an unmistakable slide-guitar voice, Plank makes music rooted in blues, roots, and rock — built as much for movement and connection as for close listening.

Jeff will also be sharing a song at our 10:45 service.
